At Willow Haven, our mission is simple and powerful:
to provide immediate safety, compassionate support, and life-restoring stability for women, men, and children escaping crisis. We believe survivors deserve more than temporary refuge, they deserve a safe path forward.
They deserve dignity. They deserve a home where healing can begin.

And every day, our organization makes that possible.

Willow Haven is a registered nonprofit dedicated to meeting survivors where they are and giving them what they need right now to stay safe.
Our mission extends far beyond a single home. We operate as a mobile network of protection, stepping into crisis situations with urgency, compassion, and action.

We exist because crisis doesn’t wait.
And neither do we.

Here are some of the ways Willow Haven fulfills its mission every single day:

When someone is in immediate danger, we:

• Place families on buses,
• Book airplane flights,
• Secure hotel rooms,
• And coordinate safe homes—
  to ensure they reach a safer city, county, or state as quickly as possible.

These moves often happen with only hours to spare.

We provide:

• Short-term confidential housing
• Immediate shelter for mothers and children
• Access to food, toiletries, clothing, and basic necessities
• Transportation to court, medical appointments, or relocation points

Every family who stays with us is met with warmth, privacy, and unconditional support.

For survivors ready to begin a new chapter, we help with:

• Moving services
• U-Haul or truck rental assistance
• Safety-focused moving day coordination
• Accompaniment to and from the residence

Starting over shouldn’t be overwhelming—our mission is to ease that burden.

We help survivors transform empty apartments into safe, stable homes by providing:

• Beds and bedding
• Dressers and household furniture
• Kitchen supplies
• Cleaning items
• Children’s items and essentials

A safe home is not just a roof—it's everything that helps a family breathe again.

For families remaining in place but needing improved security, Willow Haven has supported:

• Lock changes
• Security upgrades
• Structural repairs
• Smoke detectors, lighting, and child-safety additions

We do whatever it takes to help a survivor feel safe in her own space.

Our mission is grounded in four commitments:

We empower survivors to make the choices that feel safest to them.
